An agent is an organization or individual that refers a client to CARE Transit. An organization may be a government agency such as MCFD or Fraser Health, or a service group such as the Lions, or a First Nations, or a senior’s housing complex. An individual is a previously designated person such as a doctor or dentist, a Home Health Care worker or social worker. A member of the family or a friend may also act as a referral source, or a potential client themselves may act as their own agent.

The desire is to make the referral process as broad and straightforward as possible in order to ensure that all people that need these services actually receive them.
