CARE Transit is a volunteer, non-profit organization that was started by dedicated individuals in the community to help meet the need in Hope B.C. and the surrounding area for a transportation system that would enhance the quality of life for many people.

Purpose

"To enable greater independence and enhance the quality of life for individuals and families in Hope and surrounding areas."

This is not just our mission statement, but actually our mission. The reason people become involved in CARE Transit is that they have a desire to fulfill this statement in the lives of the members of our communities.

This purpose means we desire to contribute to the whole health of the residents of Hope and the areas of electoral districts A & B, by enabling greater independence and enhancing their quality of life. This will be accomplished by providing timely, safe and comfortable transportation to individuals where no other alternatives are available.

Hope and area is growing and with that growth comes an increase in needs and opportunities. This program will help meet many of those whole health transportation needs within our communities and give access to greater opportunities for many people.
We want to be a learning organization; an effective and efficient service provider that is able to quickly respond to the needs of our clients and the communities at large.
